[wmx] A newbie wants to know !

Niels Rasmussen - Sun May 30 16:37:31 1999

Hi again !

I am almost shure that i have /usr/X11R6/bin in my path (i really dont
know how to check it out ?) but all the programs in that library works
fine when i activate them from rxvt!

Anyway, i have installed:

XFree86-devel
make
gcc
egcs-c++

In order to make this thing work, but nothing works i still got a
errormessage when i do "make", this time i get:

---SNIP---

[root@linux wmx-5]#

It might be a piece of cake for you guys to decipher this but for me its
total nonsens ??

But let me reword my question:

If you guys out there had Redhat linux release 5.2 (apollo)
installed what would you do to install wmx-5 ??

What devel-packages has to be installed?
What has to be changed in the Makefile?
etc. etc.

I must admit that i am totally green in this stuff, but i would really
like to learn how to do it!

(HUH, thats was some explanation, thanks to all that have come this far
!!)

Please help me so i can rid of all that junk that are in my machine
right now!! (my knees are bleeding ;-))

Regards from
Niels
