[wmx] A newbie wants to know !

Hi all !
At last, at last, at last!!
Finally my search is over, this WM is just what I have been searching
for, ever since I screwed my head off and joined the Linux-gang.
How simple it is ! It just have all the features I need (no one
mentioned, no one forgotten) ;-)
Anyway as you pointed out on your homepage, all that iconstuff is all
unnecessary you never get it right anyway (so true, so true!!)
I have tried them all believe me, and it irritates me when I see that my
Xload is about to explode ;-)
Right now when I am writing this message in emacs my Xload is all blank
!!
Anyway, I am a Newbie from the rotten state of Denmark (forgive me my
rotten english ;-)) and I have some stupid question that I hope to get
answered in this WMX-sphere:
# Where are my config.h file (i got my version, 3-1 November 1997, of
WMX on sunsite rpm-repository) the only config.h I have, dont have the
features that are mentioned in the README-file ??
# When will the next rpm-release be available ? (soon i hope)
# I am getting dizzy with the default gray background, how can I change
it to f.e black or blue (or maybe a sunset over Copenhagen ;-))
# The geometry characters dont fit to my screen, I have Xload loaded via
.xinitrc and have it placed in the lower right corner but it took me 3
attempt to have it placed correctly (about 10 pixels from what was
informed on screen!) How can I adjust that ? (my screen is 17")
# I know this is too much to ask you guys, but I dont have the slightest
idea of how to compile or recompile ??
Is it at all possible to get a step by step guide of how to compile
and/or recompile the newest version of WMX (in case that the next
rpm-version is a millenium-phenomenon ??) or to compile in generally, if
it is possible I would throw myself in the dust in deep gratitude!!!!!!!
Please note that I am not a programmer, so please explain it for me in a
lowlevel lanuage ;-)
Greetings from DK
And thanks for WMX!
BTW I was looking at your screenshot on WMX's homepage and i was
wondering, how did you make emacs looke like that ?? which version do
you use ??
